Function and use

1. Used to detect the residual solvent of packaging and printing materials.

 

2. Used to detect the purity and content of solvents.

 

Detectable substances: benzene, cyclohexanone, xylene, ethanol, ethylbenzene, isopropanol, propanol, butanol, ethyl acetate, isopropanol acetate, n-butanol, toluene, n-butyl acetate, aniline phosphorus, 4-methyl 2-pentanone, etc.

 

Test principle

The basic principle of gas chromatograph is: gas, liquid or solid samples are sent into the chromatographic (separation) column system through the vaporization chamber through a certain injection method, and the mixture components in the sample flow through the chromatographic column driven by the carrier gas (N2). The components in the sample are separated under the action of the stationary phase in the chromatographic column. The separated single component enters a system called a detector with the carrier gas. Each component obtains non-electrical quantity conversion in the detector, converting the chemical component into an electrical signal (current or voltage) proportional to its concentration. These electrical signals corresponding to each component are sent to the recording instrument or data acquisition and processing system, and the components in the mixture can be qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed.

Instrument features

Technical parameters

1. With hydrogen flame ionization detector (FID). When using the instrument, different injection devices can be used according to different samples: liquid sample: use micro (μl) syringe injection; gas sample: use six-way valve injection.

 

2. When the instrument is working, three gases need to be passed:

 

① Carrier gas: generally nitrogen (N2), purity ≥99.99%;

 

② Combustion gas: hydrogen (H2), purity ≥99.99%;

 

③ Combustion-supporting gas: air (Air), air after purification and deoiling.

 

3. Detector sensitivity: Hydrogen flame detector FID detection limit: Mt≤1×10-11g/s (nC16).

 

4. Stability (FID): baseline drift ≤0.2MV/0.5h, noise ≤0.2MV.

 

5. Thermal conductivity cell: sensitivity S value ≥2500mV·ml/mg (benzene).

 

6. Stability (TCD): baseline drift ≤25μV/0.5h, noise ≤10μV.

 

7. Quantitative repeatability RSD: ≤1%.

 

8. Column box temperature control range: room temperature +5℃~300℃.

 

9. Program heating rate 0.1~25℃/min, column box cooling rate: ≤9min (from 300℃ to 70℃).
