Function and Use
SN-W01 Water Vapor Permeability Tester is a high-precision experimental test equipment integrating mechanics, electronics and software. It is suitable for testing the water vapor permeability of plastic films, composite films, sheets, plastic bottles, plastic bags and other packaging containers in the air. It is a human-machine interactive intelligent detection system with a microprocessor as the core, touch screen buttons and high-precision weight, temperature and humidity sensing mechanisms as inputs, and a high-definition touch screen as the monitoring output. It can also be connected to a PC through an RS232 interface. As long as the PC is installed with the software supporting this device, it can easily perform real-time control, parameter setting, experimental result saving and printing, etc. on the tester.
Test Principle
The temperature of the electric heating device inside the cavity is controlled by the temperature control system. As the temperature in the cavity rises, the distilled water in the moisture permeability cup is evaporated, and the evaporated water vapor is absorbed by the desiccant in the cavity cover. The weight of the distilled water in the moisture permeability cup is measured to decrease over time to obtain the moisture permeability and other parameters of the sample.
Installation and working environment requirements
The SN-W01 water vapor permeability meter is a precision analytical instrument. Choosing a suitable placement location will provide more accurate and reliable guarantees for future use. The placement table should be level, solid, stable, vibration-free and not exposed to direct sunlight; maintain a constant temperature without airflow interference; the ideal location should be set in the corner of the room, with a stable tabletop, no airflow directly from the door, window, or air conditioning vent; no strong electromagnetic interference (except the earth's magnetic field) and heat source; temperature: 10℃ ~ 30℃ fluctuation ≤1℃/h; humidity: 10% ~ 75%RH, with good grounding. If the power supply is not well grounded, the tester casing may have static electricity in a very dry environment. Check whether the work surface is stable and level. Place the water vapor permeability meter securely on the workbench, and adjust the rotatable feet of the permeability meter chassis to make the permeability meter level. (You can observe the adjustment of the level meter equipped on the transmittance meter); Check whether there are foreign objects in the cavity, and pay special attention to removing small foreign objects; gently put the scale pan into the scale pan seat in the cavity, and use your fingers to very carefully and gently shake the scale pan left and right. The scale pan should be able to shake freely, and there should be a gap with the surroundings after it stops; cover the top cover of the cavity on the cavity.
